The TruVision DVR 30 (TVR 30) models with Firmware version 4723 and/or FPGA version of FB must be upgraded to current versions. A bug in the TVR 30 firmware version 4723 with (Field Programmable Gate Array) FPGA version FB can create a “file system error” which can lead to the DVR internal watchdog to continuously reboot the DVR.
NOTE: If the Date Code on the TVR 30 model is July 2010 or later, then this Tech Note does not apply to that unit. |

If the battery is low (below 7.2VDC), the system will indicate a low battery trouble and begin a 4-hour battery charging cycle. During this 4-hour charging cycle, a low battery trouble will be displayed regardless of the voltage of the battery. |

This is to inform you of an issue with the AC-100 glassbreak detector series manufactured
between January 2008 and April 2008.
It has been determined that during this time period, the AC-100 series were configured with the
jumper settings set in the Installer Test Mode configuration and with the Alarm Memory
(latching LED) enabled. This issue has now been corrected and these products are no longer
being configured in this test mode. |

Over the past month, GE Security has held shipment of the NetworX NX-591E-GSM & NX-
591E-GSM-RP cellular back up radios. This hold was put in place to allow the engineering
team and third party suppliers time to assess reports of field installed units, which ceased
communicating on their cellular network. During this evaluation period, a key design element
was determined to be missing from all units, with manufacturing date codes prior to 08018.
Units manufactured before this date code should be replaced using one of the two methods
described in this bulletin. |

Fire-Lite has verified that MS-9050UD panels manufactured from January 1, 2008
through February 5, 2008 [date codes 0108 to 0508] will display a trouble condition upon
power up. The panel will go into trouble and display the message “CS-CALC error.”
This is a memory check message from the manufacturing process and can be cleared by “re-flashing” the firmware. The panel is not defective. |

In February 2007, the Will County Sheriff's Department of Illinois along with the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force combined resources to address a widespread issue typically overlooked - jobsite theft. The task force implemented three MOBILELOCK units to identify areas of frequent jobsite theft, capture the theives and recover the stolen assets. Within two months of using the MOBILELOCK units, the task force caught nine theives and recovered approximately $237,500.00 in stolen heavy construction equipment. |
